End of the free usage in MD version 5.42?

hallo,

2-3 weeks ago i installed version 5.42 and some days before I was surprised to see a notification and message inside MD that the free usage priod has ended and i was provided some options to extend (watch ads or grand extra permissions).
Does someone have idea what is that?

Hi, MacroDroid implemented new ways to monetize the app, so it's normal nowadays (it's a few months old if I remember correctly).

Now you have different ways to keep using MacroDroid for free e.g. Watching ads (3 days) / Answering surveys (7 days).

Oh really?!
But this turns off the MD service and when you reboot your device, MD will not start your micros, so you have to start them manuelly -> and this is no more automatisation. If so, MD loose its purpose/sense and thats a pitty :-/

It doesn't unless we buy the pro version. That's just what it is, someone has to pay their bill.

If you are not fond of spending a few bucks or watching ads then you may want to take a look at Automate instead. It's completely free up to 30 blocks.
