    Foldersync doesn't run

Macrodroid triggers folderysnc to run when I get home. I will turn off that setting once I find it. As for the Mega issue, I will keep an eye on it to see if more people report this. I feel like Mega might have changed something causing Foldersync Two-way to no longer work correctly. It could...

    Foldersync doesn't run

Thanks, I'm not unknowledgable about this and I've tried everything and every setting and I have backups for everything. That's not the issue. I have never used auto sync and as far as I am able to tell everything is exactly as it was. I've used both V1 and V2, makes no difference. I have now...

    Foldersync doesn't run

If only I knew what. I've basically already tried every setting and there is no help forum for Foldersync.

    Foldersync doesn't run

My Foldersync is now completely screwed. When I make a picture and sync. It removes the file form my smartphone and uploads it so my cloud and then when I sync again it also removes it from the cloud. Effectively deleting everything. It had been working fine for years. :(

    Foldersync doesn't run

So what you're saying is that when Foldersyc receives a command to sync a certain folderpair and that folderpair's settings has it flagged with wifi sync only, Foldersync does not actually checks whether wifi is connected or not first but instead just starts the sync and then realizes it can't...

    Foldersync doesn't run

I am not trying to be obtuse! Just to be sure, I just don't honestly understand. When you say: and Then how does Foldersync know which of the two things to do? If it does not check for wifi how does it know it needs to either run or terminate?

    Foldersync doesn't run

So, Macrodroid checks for wifi and then after that Foldersync checks for wifi. So, unless the wifi fails directly after Macrodroid has checked for it while Foldersunc hasn't finished syncing it would be redundant, right? Or am I missing something? That's the failcase situation I was talking...

    Foldersync doesn't run

That is basically what I already do. I also have my folderpairs set to wifi sync only. But doesn't that make your Macrodroid constraint that checks for wifi redundant then?

    Foldersync doesn't run

Then I don't understand. If you have Foldersync set to not check for wifi doesn't that mean that it will sync over any kind of connection available once it is told to sync?

    Foldersync doesn't run

Thank you, I will take a look at that next. Going to check first if my original macro works now with the extra minute but I haven't left my home in the last 2 days. Having Macrodroid do the wifi check and Foldersync not makes sense. Although that begs the question: what if the wifi dies a...

    Foldersync doesn't run

I'm afraid I don't follow this. Folderysnc works fine with location off even though I have set it to only sync when wifi is present. My setup until now was to have it sync everything every night a 4am run from an Automate flow.

    Foldersync doesn't run

That's not it. Macrodroid has permission to access location all the time and Foldersync doesn't need to have access to location.

    Foldersync doesn't run

Okay, well, I may have figured it out. Apparently something weird was going on where Foldersync somehow didn't accept my wifi connection as being established, even though it was. Turning wifi off and on fixed it. So the problem is not with Macrodroid. I honestly have no idea what happened. Only...

    Foldersync doesn't run

My sync folders work fine. If I sync them from Foldersync itself they sync like they should. What do you mean by 404 error? I get no response at all. Nothing happens as far as I can see.

    Foldersync doesn't run

I am using the Folderysnc plugin as an action to try and get any or all of my folderpairs to sync but it isn't working. Trying test action does nothing where I am expecting it to sync the chosen folderpairs. I have had Foldersync installed for many years and it works fine, both manually as...

Device Unlock Once Every 72 Hours

Hiya, I came across this from Google. Does this still work? I'm on Android 14 on an Oneplus Pro 10 and I'm very, very upset by the fact that Android forces this nonsensical 'feature' on me every 3 days. If your macro works I'll happily pay for the Macrodroid app to run it. edit: I just ran a...
