Action: WhatsApp Send

Please note that this feature is marked as beta and has limited functionality
The WhatsApp Send action can be used to send messages to individual contacts via WhatsApp.

Note: that this feature uses fake UI Interactions to actually send the message, therefore the screen must be on and unlocked and you must enable the MacroDroid UI Interaction accessibility service. It is not possible to send a WhatsApp message in any other way, it cannot be done when the device is locked/screen is off.

It is not possible to send a message to any groups using this action and only individual contacts are supported. (This is a limitation in the way we can invoke WhatsApp)

Available features

• Whatsapp version: Standar or Bussines.
• Phone: Enter the phone number and area code, you can get the number from a variable or use the contact picker.

Please use the full international number with country code.

• Pre-populate: If this checkbox is checked, the message will not be sent, it will just be written.
• Message text: Defines the message to be sent, supports magic text.

• Exit WhatsApp after sending: Checking this checkbox will exit whatsApp after sending the message.
