WIFI PERMISSION POP UP

I try to enable or disable my wifi via Macrodroid. But the pop up is always showing that I have to confirm that I turn on/off the wifi . I just try to using ADB Hack for both Macrodroid and Helper, and set Macrodroid as a default Asistant but nothing change. At the beginning I don't have to give a confirmation that I turn the wifi on or off but now I have to which is I can't use it while the screen is locked, and I don't update any OS or something Thx

it's allowed by default. I try to disable and enable both app but nothing changes

Have you set MacroDroid and helper as device administrators? This could help. Settings>security>device administrator

BTW, I tried to use the other app like https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.j4velin.wifiAutoOff
it's working without asking a confirmation

If this is a Xiaomi device there is a special setting buried somehwere in your settings app under applications -> macrodroid -> permissions.

You basically need to configure this to allow MacroDroid to set wifi without this prompt.

I have allow all permissions for both MD and Helper. Both App Permissions and Other Permissions ( On MIUI 13.0.4.0 SKHMIXM). I tried to resetting my device too but not fixing my problem yet

Please note that this is not a standard permission that Macrodroid can prompt you for but something specific to Xiaomi. I'm not fully aware of what versions do what but every Xiaomi device I have come across has the ability to toggle between disallowing/prompting/allowing wifi to be configured by apps.

Eu apenas tento usar o ADB Hack para Macrodroid e Helper e defino o Macrodroid como um Asistant padrão, mas nada muda. No começo eu não tenho que dar uma confirmação de que eu ligo ou desligo o wifi, mas agora eu tenho que não posso usá-lo enquanto a tela está bloqueada, e eu não atualizo nenhum sistema operacional ou algo assim Thx

eI'm having the same problem, I can't modify the wifi normally as I used to, I think it's the fault of some update.

The Macrodrioid helper is missing a permission hence the reason for the pop up prompt "Allow this app to change" every time Wifi state is changed through a task.

However there is no such issues with this app "Wifi Automatic" available in google play store, it changes wifi on/off on the fly with no pop prompt, so clearly it has the correct permission.

Just to be clear if you are seeing a prompt when you are trying to change the wifi setting then this is a non standard Android feature added by your phone's vendor. It's not possible for MacroDroid to prompt you or direct you to these as they are non-standard and not supported with standard Android shortcuts etc.

You will need to dig into your phone's settings and typically it may be listed as an option under additional permissions for an app or similar. I think in some cases the setting may even be in the developer options of the phone. The best way is to Google for this issue with your particular phone model as it will vary. The issue is not specific to MacroDroid and will effect any app that attempts to do this.

Sorry I have to disagree, yes you are right there is permission settings that needs to be enabled so that pop up prompt is disabled, however in this permission settings your Macrodroid Helper does not appear in the list (see attached screenshot) to allow me to enable this hence the reason I say the app is missing a permission it's not the case with other apps I have installed.
