Hi there,

I had "MacroDroid" to automatically detect new WhatsApp Messages - for years.
The action set was to send an e-mail to a specified e-mail account.
Perfect for users like me who receive WhatsApp Messages only once in a while.

5 days ago this stopped working out of the blue
and I can't find any "Trigger" to re-created this Macro.

Has this feature been discontinued / deleted ??

If so "yes", I am very sorry, it was a very useful feature - kindly advise current status.

To be a bit more specific:
My "Triggers" on Notification Received Any Content (WhatsApp) shows with an exclamation mark "!" in a triangle
and any attempt to test fails.

Anybody available to coach an Android Newbee / Grandpa with MacroDroid and it's features ??
Any help much appreciated

Can you show the macro?
Also check the troubleshooting section of the app (main screen -> top-left icon -> Troubleshooting).

Thanks for the reply.
I think I found it (the password on the e-mail account used for sending changed, was altered externally)
hence: The macro failed to send the message.
After correcting the latter, it started to work again !!!!
I admit the settings for the smtp account settings are well hidden.
