Wear OS

Hello
Is there any way of adding a trigger on a smartwatch without being the "Android Wear app" trigger? I mean, to activate a trigger on the smartwatch I must open the macrodoid app and click on the icon I chose.
What I wanted is a trigger like "smartwatch screen is turned on" or "smartwatch wifi is turned on", for exemple. Is it possible?
Thanks

No sorry that is not possible.
Thank you for answering. If possible, it would be so helpful to have the wear os version improved without being limited to only a manual command. I understand it must be hard to develop and maybe not worth it, though

I don't think Jamie is the type of person to consider something like this too hard to not do. I imagine it's simply WearOS that doesn't allow it.

Sorry it's more a case of Wear OS is a waste of my time because hardly anyone uses it, it's a pain to develop for as they keep changing everything and the app gets thrown off the store every 2 months for some new reason that they just made up. I don't wish to invest in the platform because Google just screw over the developers too much to make it worthwhile.
