ok yeah I see that but as far as Gestures go, Isn't a gesture the same as a swipe? So basically you plug in the the X Y coordinates of your starting point and your end point and then the app completes the swipe based on that information. Although I can't seem to get it to work and it seems as though the screen goes black right before it happens even though I incorporate a "Screen On" action and a "Keep Device Awake" action. Heres my other macro that doesn't seem to work, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Yeah I've tried different UI Interactions including clicks, long clicks and gestures none of which seem to work does anybody know why the UI Interactions Action wouldn't be working on Macrodroid for Android?
What version of Android is your phone using?
What type of device lock are you using?
Unfortunately, Google decided in later versions of Android to prevent 3rd party software from unlocking the device. Consequently screen unlock will not work with any of the device locking types ie fingerprint, face etc.
There are a couple of work around I know.
1. Turn off device lock - not recommended.
2. Use a trusted device or location with secure lock enabled on your phone. I have used a smartwatch as a trusted device that worked quite well. Secure lock unlocks the phone from a screen on action. Note that in Android 11 Google introduced more stringent checks on trusted device unlocking, requiring periodically to manually unlock the phone.
I don't use smart lock on my current phone as the face and fingerprint unlocking are both accurate and extremely fast. Face unlock with lift to wake enabled unlocks the phone before I'm ready to use it.
