Macrodroid have quite evolve since it first jorney to the playstore, I stumble on this amazing automation app when I was in dam need to automate some actions in my android as I was absolutly a novice in the programing world.
Macrodroid was my answer.

I downloaded my first macrodroid years ago and that was version 3.6.3. Those who have used the latest version of macrodroid can only describe v3.6.3 as an akward app, poor UI and ofcourse with a very limited power, but trust me it was the BEST of it kind in those days. see main screenshot below

It's got 53 Triggers, 80 Action and 29 Constrains. see Add Macro screenshot below

You can only create three variables STR,BOOL and INT no local variable. screenshot below!

The exe icon was self-explainatory as those gears explain the use of Macrodroid as an automation app but am still wondering why it was call "S MACRODROID" I have no clue what that "S" actually stand for. see screenshot below!

I really enjoy "S Macrodroid" for months as alot of my android automation was wired around it. I wonder if there are people in this forum that has use more earliar version than the v3.6.3. see screenshot of my first ever macro below!

Macrodroid has really evolved, a lot have change since version 3.6.3. the name, exe icon, main screen, UI, flexibilty, power and ofcouse permissions.

But I noticed one thing remain unchange all through the evolution and that is the color of the Trigger, Action and Constrain. honestly Jamie what ever give you this color inspiration it is the perfect color for this UI as it add hidding emotions to it activity if you know what I mean.
It was really a turn around for me when the Halloween version was released as it huge power and flexibilty prompt me into the real programing world.

The power of the latest version of macrodroid is what I could only imaging in the days of v3.6.3. I think if macrodroid is a person it should be in it teenage now as it has far pass it baby stage and we hope it grow gracefully into adulthood.

I want to say a VERY BIG thanks to Jamie for been such a honest programmer, he kept to his word when he promise access to free update on a one time purchase fee (very affordable) not so many people will keep to that over the years expecially having withness the latest power of macrodroid.
