System Setting Change stopped working after Android 14/One UI 6.0 update.

Been using a macro to automatically turn fast charging on and off depending on the time of day. No need to fast charge at night - helps to preserve the battery.
But since I updated my phone to android 14 and One UI 6.0 (I have a Samsung Galaxy S22), Macrodroid can no longer change the system settings. The ADB hack is still in place as I can still turn NFC on and off through Macrodroid.
Can someone help? Is there something I can do to restore the ability to change system settings again?

I've just realised that Macrodroid can still alter the AOD system Setting below:

Why can't I change the fast charging system settings?

Check the names of the settings had changed with the switch to Android 14

Checked. The names are the same. I can see the 1 and 0 switch when I turn them on and off manually from the phone settings, but for some reason Macrodroid can change just those charging settings.

When the S22 updated to Android 14 did you re-install the helper?

On Android 14 the helper has to be installed via ADB

it might be worth reinstalling the helper, if you haven't already done it.

Yeh. I did that. Needed to for other macros to work as well. But this wouldn't explain why I can change the Always on Display system setting, but not the charging ones.

It looks like the significant change is the Android 13 to 14 update.
I have had phones with the issue you have (for different system settings) and unfortunately I
didn't find a solution.
I think Samsung and or Google may have removed access to these settings. See if another user with a Galaxy 22/23 on Android 14 has or doesn't have your issue.

I just figured out a solution... For mine anyway. I deleted the system settings change lines from the macro and re-added them. When you add them again it has a check box saying use helper app (which want there when I originally made the macro). Works now.
