Hello,
The title says it all, the ability to let a macro control the power input from the charger (usb/wireless) in order to charge the phone between specific percentages of battery charge, for an example 30%min-80%max, which significantly improves battery lifespan.

Either root or by using timer plugs. Timer plugs are cheaper and easier than rooting and potentially ruining your device

In addition to @Jacob L suggestion you could use IFTTT plugs.

If you are not rooted I don't think this kind of app can exist because it would need a special API to manage physical current shutoff. It's the reason why only devices like Smart plugs can be programmatically controlled.

Existing apps I could find on the Net are not smarter than what we all can do with MD
