Sleep trigger discussion

I just wanted to get some other peoples input and opinions about the new sleep trigger!

For example, what experiences have others had? What are some solid thresholds and constraints to use?

Maybe together we can figure out the best setup for this new trigger!


So far i have only tried it without changing any of the options on the triggers, and also without any constraints, and the results have been very inaccurate, one time it even thought that i was still sleeping after i had been using my phone for 20 minutes straight i will attach the results!

PS: i did not sleep at all while this macro was running

Sorry, I don't catch what you are talking about.
New "sleep" trigger? Is it your mom or wife? For me Alexa is much more helpful than my wife

I'm talking about the new MD sleep trigger that came with the last MD update (it's only for android 10+ i believe)

hmm, I don't get any update after Sep until now. 11th and can't find the sleep trigger.

hmm.. i'm not sure how these updates through google play work exactly but for me it was also available a day earlier on my android emulator then on my phone.. i believe my emulator's location is set to the United States instead of the Netherlands, so yeah, i also think it must be because of something like this!

Are you also signed up as a beta tester for MD? I'm not sure if that will make any difference or not..

I just had another look in the playstore and now it says this update was available from the 22nd on my emulator and from the 25th on my phone..

I hope for you that you will also be able to update the app soon!

Yeah, I'm a beta tester and never updated, even though Beaujolais Nouveau will be available half a day earlier than you european guys

This has gotten me confused, is this an app? i cannot find an app by this name and google tells me that it is red wine.. but why would red wine be available half a day earlier and how does it relate to this thread?

haha, I'm sorry. It had no relation at all.
Beaujolais Nouveau is a something like a symbol of getting everything earlier on "D-day" because here is far east, very close to IDL.
When I was teenager, I used to be in line at midnight not only for red wine but also for tickets of baseball game, brand new game softwares and new movies.
So I always tend to expect getting everything earlier than european and north american guys. However, now we have such domestic Internet slang, おま国, おま値 and おま環, which mean we have disadvantages in most cases

I have been a beta tester since i started using MD, but i'm not sure if this even has any effect on when updates become available..

I really do not understand why it works like this.. one gets the update the other does not.. it all seems very strange to me.. i also can't really find any clear information about why this is, maybe the MD developer could tell you more about this?

I just asked to figure out what difference is.
Yeah, It's reality strange for me. It sometimes happens an update is coming a brief time and declined within few hours. I suspect it as the developer cancel it due to some minor issue. And it comes back again within a couple of days. I'm not sure it is same or not at this moment. One most strange thing is that a guy told me he got 5.19.1, he should be in the same region though.

In some cases clearing cache for play store and services helps. Mostly it is because devices have different specifications so it has to roll out slowly. The other factor is countries and Google restrictions. Just be patient and also understand it isn't Jamie at fault here

Probably the strange brief release I had encountered is the case when I got a couple of release versions in a very short period. I think at least one release version is unveiled, the other versions could be canceled freely by the publisher. Anyway, this is another story.
