Hello. I moved from Huawei P30 Pro to Samsung S24 ultra and having an issue with the MD helper and imported the backup. As macros fired that needed the helper I was asked to download the MD helper which I did. Only thing is it was version 1.4 as opposed the 1.8 I had on the previous phone.

For some reason it uninstalled after install while I was mucking around and now the phone refuses to install it. Or maybe it didn't uninstall. Hard to tell since I can't any shortcut for it like the Huawei phone.

So firstly where/how to uninstall MD helper.
Second why is there an old version which I realised later?
Trying to figure out what I am doing wrong.

Installing helper on Android 14+

While waiting for an official guide, users are starting to come here to get help about installing or updating the helper app on Android 14+. Because Google is so keen to "protect our privacy", applications targeting SDK 22 or lower can no longer be installed or updated on devices - at least not...

I am lucky I didn't have to do it all since I already had it installed before updating to android 14 my s23u so it all just works for now
