Hello, I am trying to enable/disable Samsung's eye comfort shield (blue light filter) through macrodroid but I am unable to find the setting key. The key that I have seen suggested ( night_display_activated ) does not work and instead makes the screen turn off entirely, which requires a hard reboot to fix.

You are using the wrong key, try this
blue_light_filter 0
blue_light_filter 1
The corresponding table is "system" and the setting type is "integer"
Great advice but unfortunately it does nothing.
Oh... so I don't know if there is another key. This works for me on a Galaxy A71 with android 12 hope someone has a s21 and can help.
Do you have macrodroid helper installed?
I can see what trying to change this setting without macrodroid helper is not possible.
