Problem with starting MD and other Apps in my new android car radio (headunit)

Hello,

my new radio makes problems. It does not start any app but the selected launcher. I have two launchers. The original and "CarWebGuru". I can select in the systemsettings which of them to start.

But any other normal apps with autostart are not started like normally for example in my phone. This are a GPS-tracker and a radarwarner . They should start always when the radio starts.

And of course MD.

No one gets started automaticly. :-(

Only 1 of the both launchers. Then I have to go from launchermenü to the "apps" and then to start the wanted apps manually

In my radio before it worked with android 5.1. MD started normal and all apps with a autostartfunction too

This new radio has a Android 10 with some missing functions in compare to my phone.

Does anyone know a way to start special apps? I would be glad if MD could start. Than I can start the other apps via MD.

I tried it before. But I could never bring a app in this autostartlist. Now I tried again and after somte trials I found a "ok" at the long list after scrolling total down to the end. "OK" very dark grey on nearly black backgrund. I hate this stupid darkmode UIs, menues and "hidden" ok buttons.

It works. But it starts only one of my two programms. And it starts it in foreground instead of background. Therefore I always must recall my CWG to front.

I will try tomorrow with calling MD. Hoping that I can bring MD into the background after doing the work.

Ok, it's just the easyest way to add apps to Autostart
But anyway, I don't think you have an MD problem, but I would try to reinstall it and see if things gets better
I think it would be better to look at some XDA forums

I added 2 apps. See post at 7.07 PM. But only the first added app starts. And it starts in foreground. So I have to return to CWG with "<-" or the "Home"-Button each time
Ok - it is not a MD-problem. But all apps, which normaly autostart, do it not on this headunit. Only the alternative launcher CWG. But it is selected in the headunits settings as main-launcher. I will test MD as autostart-app in CWG in a few minutest and test it.
