Notification variables aren't working in Display Notification or Send SMS since last update

As the title says, I can't get the variables to pull the correct info. My trigger is Notification Received. I've used this macro for years without issue. The notification variable names show in my Notification and in my SMS instead of the info from the trigger. Hope this makes sense, I'm recovering from a head injury. Here are screenshots. You can see I was trying to troubleshoot a bit. I get the issue on my phone and 2 tablets. Sorry the pics are so huge.

This was happening to me too; in the course of trying to figure out why, I created a new test macro with Notification Received as the Trigger. It seemed to work, so I was still puzzled. Then I went back to the original macro, and that suddenly started working again too. I've no idea why, but as long as my original macro is working again...😁

Ok, so the macro I posted above started working correctly again once when I created the test macro suggested above. However, I then deleted the test macro... And my original problem is back. This didn't fix my problem.

Guess what? The problem came back for me too today- I suspect this is a MacroDroid bug, but I'll test it again tomorrow...
