MacroDroid still has permission to read notifications

And also whenever I clear a notification, it snoozes it instead which prevents new notifications until I change the date in the settings to a future date

Okay seems like a restart fixed the first issue
But it still snoozes notifications instead of dismissing them

It ain't a system notification, but from an app I downloaded. Do you also mean that system notifications can be snoozed (instead)?

It is presumably an ongoing (foreground service) notification and the only way to clear these is to snooze them.

If I can dismiss it manually does it mean it's not a persistent/ongoing notification?

It's an app that works in the background.

It's a new thing in Android 13/14 that Persistent notifications can be dismissed by the user. AFAIK other apps still can't dismiss these in the normal way (but I could be wrong).
