My phone or MD?

My macro was working in perfect condition untill I upgraded MD to the latest version... Now it took close to 5sec to finish executing IF CONTAIN action... this usually will take less than a second befor the upgrade.

Could it be my phone?
Could it be from MD?
How do I downgrade back?

I actually have over 5000 data of my client in a variable... I call each of this data by typing the client's name using IF CONTAIN (am not using dictionary for some reason). Everything was working well over a year now until I upgraded MD.
Now if I type a name it takes over 5sec to call up d data and it's really affect the function of the macro.

What could be the culprit?

Export macros, uninstall MacroDroid, install old version, import macros, reconfigure allow missing permissions (if you install using adb you can grant most permissions using the -g option.

My question is where do I get the old version?
I got one online but my phon refuse installation because it's not from Google playstore.

You can get it here on forum.
You need to install from an external source than Google Play, that's the only way..

Every phone I've ever used has had the option to change a setting to allow from alternate sources. Your phone doesn't have that? Is it a Chinese brand?

Yea you are right... But even if you change the installation route from my settings it still refuse installing app from alternate source apart from Google playstore

Does installing bring up the Google Play Protect dialog?
Could you simply show a screen recording of the installation process and when you enable the related settings?

Below are screenshots of what happened when I try installation elsewhere... Notice the first app called "Notification Listener"... Once I click the install button the entire installation dialogue disappear n that's it nothing more.

But sometimes installer package will just stop for no reason just like the screenshot to the right.

Everything seems perfect with the phone as I can install same apk directly from playstore without any issue .

Am running android 11

Note I have also uninstall the app and try fresh installation but no luck.... Same result.

Best I can imagine is that your phone is broken and you should factory reset to fix it.

Have you tried installing via ADB ?
