A mod should tell (on Reddit) that asking in the forum is way better than Reddit. Often people don't get a reply there, and if they are new user they may leave MD because they didn't receive any help

I technically can but I cannot say they won't get a reply on Reddit as they might. There is a forum tile in MacroDroid which should help users. Often times, people don't want to create new accounts just for one thing. A lot of people are coming from Reddit that's possibly why they ask in Reddit. I do my best to answer when I can.

Can't you just add a bot that says to ask in the forum if they don't get a reply in reddit

I think it is up to the individual where to ask and answer questions and not to be forced to do so.
There seems to be no particular trouble on either side, and I think we can continue to work together as before.

@Dimlos is absolutely right (my opinion), how about groups or whatever on Telegram, Whatsapp and there's surely many other places, should there also be bots there? What a job!

When you install the app there's a link to the forum on the frontpage, if people want to use this forum or something else is really up to the individual, even new users
