MacroDroid Helper APK
In order to toggle Wifi (and a number of other features) on devices running Android 10+ a new helper file is now required. This helper file is built against an older target SDK allowing it to still invoke the Wifi functionality. It cannot appear on the Play Store since they no longer allow apps...
All the Malware apps are utter rubbish and have no real value at all. They don't ever tell you anything useful or concrete just some obscure codes and 'potential problems'
Of course MacroDroid does some pretty non-standard things compared to most other apps and I guess that somehow these apps then suggest that this is suspect behavior.
Ultimately I've been building this app for over 11 years now. I make a comfortable living off the app and contract work on the side (which I find very easily due to having this app) and I'm not going to risk my reputation an throw malware all over everyone's devices.
The helper only exists because Google have forced it to be required to do some functionality (I wish it didn't need to exist).
