Macrodroid using lot of battery in standby

Macrodroid is consuming a significant amount of battery even in standby mode or in background, i thought it's normal until i compare the power consumption with tasker.
Tasker with all its modules do twice as many tasks than macrodroid do on my phone.
I want to know is it the way it is or battery consumption can be fixed with an update?

By standby mode do you mean Macrodroid running with no macros?

If you have macros, a rouge macro could be causing high battery drain.

What does the system log show when Macrodroid is in standby mode?

By saying standby i meant when i am not using the phone, mostly in the night when I'm sleeping,
I do have couple of macros but most of them only come in active when it is Triggered and
System log shows an execution of a macro was failed a significant amount of times, so i just deleted the macro now.

You probably have macros running in background.
