Macrodroid UI stopped working (macros still do)

Hi,
On my Android 7.1.2 device (Meizu, Flyme Android 7.1.1.0G) Macrodroid 5.34.10 (Purchased previously, automatically updated many times before) UI stopped working showing the splash screen with the colored android and nothing more for a long time. Sometimes the icon is animated with an effect, sometimes not. Reboot didn't help. Macros, at least some of them, work. Didn't notice anything unusual in logcat grepping with "marcodroid"

The device is rooted, Macrodroid Helper is installed. I'm not sure about the regression version since I honestly stopped adding new macros some time ago and since then Exporting/Backuping either so there was no need to start UI.

An update probably broke it (it doesn't that's a lot of the time). Backup and reinstall app/clear data.

Thanks for the suggestion. Just when I wanted to follow it, I noticed that this was a problem with the MD icon at the Nova Launcher home screen. The icon from the All apps section worked, so I redrop it at the home screen and now it works. I'm not sure why it stopped working, this particular icon was used before many times. Probably If MD changed the launch link during some of the previous updates, the old one on my home screen became invalid.

It can also break when the app is launched 'from a shortcut'.
