"macrodroid service task removed" on Motorola One 5G Ace

Hi All

My Motorola One 5G Ace seems to be killing Macrodroid in the background. In the log I repeatedly get I've turned off all battery saving features that I can find and enabled all app privileges, to no avail. I repeatedly get "Macrodroid service task removed - attempted restart mechanism", and my macro only responds intermittently to its SMS trigger. I've also updated to the most recent version of Macrodroid. Please help!!

Never thought that Motorola with its near clear android experience could be so agressive. Maybe it's not cuased by battery optimizations. Do you have helper apk installed?

Unless I am misremembering this particular log line is displayed when you swipe it away from the task switcher thing. So in this respect it is not anything to worry about.

Can you please define more clearly the exact nature of the SMS trigger failure you are seeing. Does it appear to work for a while then completely stop or does it seem totally random as far as you can tell.
