When you download for the first time the app, you should be guided on how to make Macrodroid's links open on Macrodroid since the average person don't know how to do it.
Also put the guide after the dialog with the new features so even who already uses the app can finally enable the links.

I mean the links of the macros. You have to go to the settings > macro droid > open by default > select the 2 links

I have realme but now I can open the links, I was saying this since it happens some time to read that other people say that the links don't work

I understand the issue, but the point is that I believe that there is no explicit step that should be required on standard Android to make these links work by default. I have no idea why some devices don't enable by default or if there is anything I can do about it.

You could make people test if a link works or not. If it doesn't tell them they have to open settings > app > macrodroid > open by default > add link > select both links
