Hello,

I have a ZTE Axon 7 2017G. I rooted it and flashed LineageOS 17.1 (Android 10). This custom ROM doesn't have the Powerschedule on / off option the stock ROM has so I was happy with MacroDroid. I installed it, gave it SU rights and created 2 macros - macro1 to shut off, macro2 to start up a powered off phone.

both macros are triggered daily on 00:00 and 07:00

macro1 action is shut off (alternative option)
macro2 action is restart
There are no conditions

Both macros run when tested

The result:
Macro1 is executed (phone shuts off) but macro2 never gets executed. The log contains loglines for macro1 but not of macro2.

(seems to me logical...if the phones shut off, how can a macro run?)

What's wrong here - how can I start a powered-down phone?

MD is NOT running while the device power off. Try OS builtin feature if your device has.
