Leftover module?

I installed MD last week on my Google Pixel C tablet with android 8.1 to alert me when the charging level reached 85%
I gave it all the necessary permissions
When the charge level reached 85% there was NO notification - checked this on two days
So I uninstalled MD but the MD info is still on my status bar! Rebooting doesn't help.
Where is the leftover module (?) so I can delete it! (device is rooted so can get to all files)

It's a pitty you uninstalled MD because it works very well. Mainly for such a simple macro:
T: Battery level -> Any change (rather than Increase/Decrease)
A: If Battery Level Greater than 84
A: do whatever you need
A: End if

About uninstalling MD, did you follow the procedure from the main menu (instead of removing manually some files, as you are rooted)?

Thanks for replying.

I "uninstalled" MD by dragging the app icon from the app drawer to the top of the screen.

How could I "follow the procedure from the main menu" after I had uninstalled the app?

In order to get rid of the remaining notification do I have to reinstall MD and then uninstall it from within the app itself to get a complete uninstall?

It's a pity you uninstalled MD because it works very well.

Sorry but leaving behind an active notification running after using the Android method of uninstalling isn't "working well" in my book.

It might now have uninstalled. Sometimes Android claims it has even if it hasn't. See if device administrator was granted in settings>security>device administrator.

If @Jacob L's advice is not satisfying, I would suggest to reinstall MD and use main menu option as shown on the screenshot attached.

Could you show us the notification? Also did you install the helper, maybe that's the notification.

OK, I reinstalled MD, uninstalled it using the MD menu and the MD icon is still on the statusbar after rebooting. Ho do I get rid of this curse?

Here's the icon on the statusbar:

no, I didn't install the "helper"

That's not an icon I associate with MD.

Is it a notification or a persistent icon?

If it's a notication, click on it and show us the text.

Looks more like a health/heart app to me. If you pull down your notification area slowly it will animate and show which notification and app is causing it.

I can confirm this is nothing to do with MacroDroid in any way. So whatever you are seeing is in no way related to MacroDroid.

You should be able to just long press on the notification to see what app it belongs to.

Thank you.

It was an "Android System" notification that (1) I was able to turn off - thanks to your suggestion and (2) first appeared when I set up MD and remained after uninstalling MD.
