cihazclick actions are not working in device's own camera app... my device is rooted. tapping works in other apps.. but not clicking in camera app

Have you tried clicking X,Y locations?

yes, I entered it as a coordinate... I want to press the shutter button.. but the application doesn't either... other applications also work as touch task..

I assume you are using the UI Interaction action, is that correct?

As you have a rooted device you could try enabling experimental options via the MacroDroid settings and trying the touch screen action.
