Intent?

I've seen people whove added new triggers by collecting "intents" how are they doing this? Is there a way to make a macro that collects these intents for apps?

Are you asking (a) how to set up a macro in MacroDroid to react to an intent sent to MacroDroid, or (b) how to use MacroDroid to detect and/or react events sent to other apps, or (c) how to use MacroDroid to discover and document the intents that other apps react to (so as to possibly send them an intent from MacroDroid)?

C I believe to set macrodroid to capture and recognize intents from other apps if possible

Then @Jacob L 's YouTube video should work; it describes how to capture an intent sent to MacroDroid from another app. You'll need to know what intents and data that app is sending, of course. You can use Tasker to practice, if you have that app installed.

Ok thanks I'll definitely give that a look and maybe come back if I need more info. Macrodroid is amazing and that video section needs to be more fleshed out they should allow users to post videos because I didn't find the developer ones very helpful
