How to use Plugins?

Forgive me if I have overlooked the following information in the docs ...

How do I use any of the listed Plugins within Macrodroid actions?

For one example out of many, I installed "AutoTools" long ago on my rooted device, and I've been successfully using it as a Plugin with Tasker. How would I utilize this same "AutoTools" Plugin here within Macrodroid?

Thank you very much in advance.

Thank you very much.

And now I see why I was confused about Plugins. It's because Macrodroid itself is confused about the fact that I already paid for an upgrade. It isn't showing me plugins under Applications, even though I did indeed upgrade.

I paid for the upgrade in the past, but the "Upgrade Now" button still shows for me. But if I click on that "Upgrade Now" button, I am told that I already own this item.

However, the absence of Plugins on the Applications page indicates that at least the Plugins part of Macrodroid thinks that I did *not* pay for the upgrade.

I think that once this upgraded/not-upgraded Macrodroid confusion gets resolved, I'll probably then see the plugins under Applications.

You should report the bug through the troubleshooting section under the left hamburger menu from MacroDroid home screen

@Fabian2710 The list of plugins shows apps that can be interacted with as Tasker/locale plugins OR that support Android shortcuts that allow them to be launched from the Launch Shortucut action.

Is there a way for MacroDroid to detect the shortcuts that appear when long pressing an app's icon in the launcher?

I prefer using the apps not the plugins, and I am also facing the same issue like yours.

To the best of my knowldege this is not something that can be done, because an app has to properly expose particular Android shortcuts to third party apps and these are not the same types of shortcut.
