How to Disable Long-Press Action on WhatsApp Icon for Recent Chats Privacy (Android 10)

I'm using Android 10 on my Infinix Note 7. I need assistance in creating a macro with the following function:

When I long-press the WhatsApp icon on my home screen, a pop-up appears displaying my three most recent chats. This is a feature of my mobile launcher.

What I want to achieve is to disable the long-press action on the WhatsApp icon specifically on the home screen, so that my recent chats won't be visible to anyone.

Could someone please guide me on how to do this?

MacroDroid is in no way related to this I'm afraid. You might find an option in your launcher's settings.

I have thoroughly searched for an option in my launcher to disable this feature, but unfortunately, it seems there isn't one available.

Is there a way to disable the 'com.WhatsApp.HomeActivity' specifically when I launch the home screen on my non-rooted phone?

I guess You could use FAB Button, place it on its icon, block it and create macro that will open whatsapp when u click it and multiple other macros to hide it when u open any app or something but thats not too convinient.

@Brush suggestion is the easiest: create a macro that opens Whatsapp with a shortcut on your Home screen.

this is nice suggestion, please guide how can i do?
For me the easiest way to do it is to long press home screen to add widget/shortcut, find macrodroid choose shortcut, add it to your screen, then it asks you to configure macro for the shortcut so you just add action open app, choose WhatsApp from the list and save macro, then it takes me to other screen where I can change the icon of shortcut and thats it. Now when you click it and it opens WhatsApp.
