Fails to load variables after February 2022 update

Hi -. Yesterday my phone auto installed the February 2022 update for macrodroid and today my system log has an error saying that it can't load the variables file. (I attached a screenshot of the relevant part of my system log below.) When I opened a macro for editing and tried to save it I got an invalid macro message and the error turns out to be anything having to do with a variable because the variables are missing. Is it just me or has anyone else encountered this, and how should I best go about getting assistance to resolve this? Thank you in advance.

Could you please try a restore from auto backup (from before this issue happened) and confirm if this restores everything.

Thanks for the response. A restore of a backup created before the issue arose appears to have restored the variables and therefore the functioning of my macros.

Reminds me of the issue I had where the macros.json file would be completely corrupted/empty. I still have no idea why it happened but it hasn't done that in a long time.

Not sure why this thread has re-appeared but I believe that issues with the macro/variable files screwing up is now fully fixed as I don't get complaints about these issues any more.
