Call old menu function

I use an old app for which there is no replacement, for which you need the old menu call function.
The app does not have a button for the menu, but expects to be called via the former system button.

Is it possible to call the function somehow via Macrodroid?
Or does anyone know of another possibility?

I would rather do without the additional software and would be happy if this is feasible with MD.

But with the software I could call up the menu before.

Try Key Mapper. I think it can be triggered by MacroDroid and can call out these buttons, but needs to be set as default keyboard app.
