Any way to disable mail sync on macrodroid

Hi, is there any way to write a macro to disable mail being eg synchronized during night?
I thought disabling sync would do the trick, but it don't, mail is still being downloaded to the phone

There is an Auto sync on/off action. All you need is to add a day/time trigger.

If this does not help you, it depends on the app for mail you are using. Aqua mail can have its mail sync stopped by using the plugin actions.

I actually use aqua mail, and disabling sync in Android settings (not in aqua mail) surprisingly don't stop aqua from retrieving mail. Then want sure it do I wonder. Can you explain the plugin action for aqua, how to do this?

Ok found a solution. Deep in the settings in aqua mail mail retrieval setting can be set to "observe all", then aqua mail respect's auto sync disabled.
