How to share Macros

To share a macros between two cellular phones both phones need to share the same WIFI net or need to be coupled via Bluetooth to each other. On top both have to allow apps to check the geographical location (GPS). In case of WIFI to verify ‘nearby’, in case of Bluetooth this is a left over.

  • Bluetooth:

Check the devices are coupled. Next open the macro to be shared an tip the three vertical dots on the upper right corner. There select ‘Share to nearby device’. Open on the other phone the ‘Macros’ screen, tip the three dot and select ‘Import from nearby device’. Be patient, MacroDroid it will need some time to assess the connection. Thereafter on the ‘import' device a box opens asking to confirm the transfer.

  • WIFI:

Establish on both phones WIFI-Direct and proceed as above.
