This trigger creates a dynamic shortcut that appears when you long-press the MacroDroid app icon and tap the shortcut.

Options

  • Shortcut Name - The label shown in the long-press shortcut list
  • Icon Type - Image icon or text icon
  • Icon Text - Text shown on the icon when using a text icon
  • Icon Colors - Background and foreground colors for the shortcut icon
  • Custom Image - Choose a built-in icon or a custom image URI

Examples

Example 1: Start driving mode from the launcher

MacroDroid Icon Long Press Shortcut ("Start Driving")
Actions

Bluetooth Configure (Enable)
Wifi Configure (Disable)
Display Notification: "Driving mode enabled"

Example 2: Launch the camera quickly and set the screen to max brightness

Launch Application: Camera
Set Brightness: 100%

Notes
