Hi. Are there any news on Macrodroid running on Android TV 9? I got my XGIMI MoGo Pro+ with Android TV 9 and was desperately hoping to use Macrodroid.
Any workaround now in Dec. 2021?
Thanks in advance.

I downloaded the apk from apkmirror and installed it.
Installation worked, but the App is not in landscape and I can't get over the onboarding screen.
Furthermore, I was unable to find a "rotation" App that worked on my MoGo Pro+.

If you use only buttons to control you Android TV it is going to be really hard to deal with MacroDroid. I recommend some mouse or some remote simulating mouse.

Also if you get throught intro you can quickly create macro to force landcape rotation upon opening MacroDroid.

Thanks for your help @FrameXX
I just connected an old wired mouse to the projector and this helped to overcome the onboarding screen.
I granted every access I found in the device setting to bring Macrodroid to work.
However, the most important access to create a rotation macro I was unable to find. "draw overlays" 🤷‍♂️

I would assume it would be somewhere > System settings >Apps >Special permission (or Special apps) > Draw overlays.

This is basic permission. It should be somewhere.

Thanks for pointing in the right direction. This was helpful.
Even if they name it Overlay in the German message, they name it entirely different in German settings.
I think I'm now ready to start trying what is possible with Macrodroid on the XGIMI MoGo Pro+ now.
For now, thanks a lot.
