Webhook on Android 9 -- Working?

Solved. Sorta.
I have temporarily switched back to an older phone running Android 9, and the Webhook trigger doesn't seem to work at all. Initially I imported the device ID from my new phone, but nothing worked. So I generated a new device ID and still nothing is working. Any suggestions? MD is updated. Galaxy Note 8 if that makes a difference.

Solved update: Somewhere between my various phones I updated MD two days ago, on more than one device, but evidently not on this one. After updating, it's working fine. However, now I've lost my original device ID. I suppose there's no getting it back...

Did you root/change ROMs or anything? If Google Play Services is not installed, this won't work.

Also check the MacroDroid system log.

Not rooted or anything else. I check the log and there's no record of a trigger.

Try restarting the phone, and if that doesn't work, clear all data for Google Play Services, restart, and try again.

Also make sure MacroDroid is excluded from battery optimizations:
