• Floating Text with decimal (x,y) variable doesn't work: the decimal part is not taken into account, i.e. 5.5% or 5.7% are displayed as 5%
• When several Floating Texts are used in the same macro (with IDs such as "{macro_name}A", "{macro_name}B"), only the last one is displayed
• probably due to SDK, Shell Scripts with date commands don't work anymore
• impossible to downgrade MD to v5.46.10 (or lower) to run macros with previous MD versions

Thanks for flagging these issues. As I said this was an enormous change so I expected some issues like this.

I recommend you revert back to v5.46 and try again at the next beta as I will try and fix what I can find for the next update.

First issue I encountered is that any text after magic text is removed.

@Dm114 It's not possible to downgrade an Android APK but you can simply uninstall and reinstall and restore from a backup.

I tried doing this once, but was told by adb that only apps installed with some debug flag set could be downgraded.

Does for me too. Steps to reproduce:

swipe open the drawer, press the + button at the to right, press text and then press the magic text button

I am happy to report that my Google Play beta release with target SDK 34 has been approved with the "Special Usage" option for my foreground service. This is a major relief and is one less headache to deal with. Assuming I don't get any more review issues in the next month or so, next I will try again for all file access permission and put a big effort into presenting my case why i need it.

Issue on Selection Dialog action. The cursor will jump on the other item during typing and char can't be deleted. Observed in 5.47.1 & .2 v.

Hi, @jebko,

I agree with you, magictext is not recognised correctly in MD v5.47.x.

Some macros worked fine in v5.46.x, but in v5.47.x they are abnormal and do not return numbers or characters.:-(

I can't recreate the issue with displaying the global variable magic text within the popup message. Does this happen in the latest v5.47.2 release? If so can you show the contents of this global variable?
