Wow ....i wasnt expecting to see the date added to system log entries.

Unfortunately, it takes up a lot of the line and to me is of no benefit.

I couldnt find a way to disable showing the date.

Would it be possible to add the show date as an option in the same way and place of show milliseconds?

That was not intentional, I was tweaking various stuff around this and must have accidentally screwed the format up here. I will revert for the next beta.

The universal apk doesn't work on either my phone or my tablet. My tablet tells me "App not installed as package appears to be invalid." Other apk works fine, ironically enough.

edit:
Ran into a bug where the app crashes when a certain macro is opened. Tried to re-install 5.43.6 to test if it was present there as well. For that version, neither the universal nor the smaller apk works on my tablet. Both give me the "package invalid" message.

Yeah I think this is because that version of the app is still sitting waiting for review on the Play Store beta channel. (Been there a couple of days)

In v5.44.4 I could not add Bluetooth Beacon.
Beacon Simulator is used to verify the operation.
It worked reliably in v5.43.8.

I have not changed anything related to this in any way on v5.44. I just tried Beacon Simulator and I was able to detect a beacon with no issue in v5.44

On NG devices, v5.43.8 can scan and add Beacon, but v5.44.4 crashes the app when scanning.
Trying to create a macro in v5.44.4 crashes, making it difficult to file a bug report.
This feature is experimental, so there may be differences between devices.

Thanks for the update. I can see there is a crash in my logs for this and it looks like it's something to do with the code obfuscation that is applied to release builds. I probably forget to prevent obfuscation for one field that gets serialized and it has changed in this build and causes a crash when trying to use it.

I shall investigate and try to fix.

Since MD v5.44.4 Set variable screen shows the list of existing variables with the selection button at the end of each variable name (on the right side, not even aligned) instead of at the beginning of each line, on the left side. It's really weird and unconformable. Guess it's an error...
