Enabling USB Debugging by accessing device Settings menu is the usual method. However, it is easier using MacroDroid system settings. The attached macro provides the details.
This setting may not be available on every phone, but if you use adb and don't like to leave it permanently enabled, then this macro provides a quick and easy method of toggling the setting.
