Take picture failed

I'm setting up a couple security apps that involve taking a picture with the front facing camera and emailing it to me. Last night when I set it up it worked fine, I even have 4 pictures saved in the folder a created specifically for the macro so I know it work last night. But this morning I got in to it to finish finalizing everything and it gives me a notification that says "Take picture failed: could not take picture at this time" I've gone through everything I can think to, I've given macrodroid every permission I can and I've gone tough the settings and can't find anything that would cause this. Any ideas?

This usually means that the camera is locked by some other app or it has somehow got into a state where it can't be used. Does it work again if you reboot your device?

I've restarted the phone a few times and it had no effect. I've closed everything and used an app killer to make sure everything was closed. I just tried it again and it still won't take a picture. All other features seems to be working, just not the camera.

Leon89 did you find a solution to this, just happened to me today .. it was working fine before
