Scheduling Music playing

I am new to MacroDroid. I fail to define the right macro to schedule the built-in music player on specific times. I am trying to make it playing Mon to Thr 8am to 8pm, Fri 8am to 2pm and off on saturday. Can you help me with this task?

It's possible to set d trigger to Day/Time trigger but am not sure there is a way to set the action to play music without using UI interaction.

Infact you have to lunch your music player and then use UI interaction to play the music each time . Of course that means your screen will always be on.

I guess you are right but, as I don't play music on my mobile, I'm afraid I won't be able to help you efficiently...

But why should you use UI interaction actions? You have specific MD commands to play music.

Well I am assuming he wants to play music via his music player otherwise it's OK to use play sound action

I have put together a sample macro, if you would like to try it.

Check if you can play and stop Spotify with the action.

I don't use Spotify so I can't test your macro but anyway you must add a delay (Wait action) after launching app and Media Play action.

Thank you for your suggestion. On my device it played without the wait action, but I think it would be better to add a wait action to make it work on more devices.

Spotify is available for free, so if you have time, please give it a try.
