rate Brands on sleep/battery saving aggressiveness

having just read this

where it seems it's recognized by Google that device makers' custom battery saving methods are a problem I hope members here share their brand experience (shortly please) and even rate them so that other members are warned before buying a new device and don't have a nasty surprise (for example I'm thinking about a new Motorola or a Poco)

I personally use now a Xiaomi with Android 9 but it's the so called Google One phone with no Xiaomi customization (no MIUI at all)
and a Samsung tablet with Android 11

both are fine with Macrodroid, no issues at all
the only side issue is with notifications from other apps (which my MD macros must catch) and which arrive late because.. you know 😂 even if battery optimization is disabled and full background app use is allowed for these other apps
I don't know how MD manages to be responsive and work fine in the background (I believe it has to do with the persistent MD notification)
but I'm happy it does

It has. MacroDroid runs a foreground service and any app running foreground service needs to post persistent notification.

I currently have a Motorola Moto G6 Plus and I'm fine, the manufacturer's customizations are minimal and unobtrusive, and I haven't noticed any aggressive app kills; it's almost like stock android. Since the phone has been having some problems lately, I'm thinking of changing it with the new Moto G82 (but before buying it I'll wait for rooting to be available). It would be nice to know in advance that this model also follows the same philosophy as the previous one.

I looked at dontkillmyapp.com, Motorola is not on the manufacturers list. Is this good or not good?
It could be both. Either it doesn't cause many issues with apps, or it does but hasn't got any documentation yet

I am not sure dontkillmyapp.com is always relevant
it's also not always MD performance we care
other apps are important too
like the example I said in original post
where MD must catch a notification from another app but that notification arrives late or arrives only when you unlock the phone, in this case the whole objective is not accomplished because the other app's notification came late and it's not necessarily because the other app was killed, but the app was either kept sleeping or it's notifications kept queued
I guess similar delays may happen too with intents or plugin calls
so my desire here is to rate the whole system responsiveness/experience (and in extension MD macro effectiveness) from our members especially when device has screen off

dontkillmyapp rates Samsung very badly and says Android One Xiaomis are ok
but I have both and are the same for me and I can even say that Samsung is better with Android 11 (Android 11 seems much better in memory management than Android 9 and way smoother)
everything works great with both devices, no issues except that if the devices have screen off for long time then apps are getting into some kind of deep sleep and notifications arrive later than should (all kind of notifications, from camera apps to even Google's Gmail !!)
we want to rate the extent of delays here (even stock Android has delays) ie how bad they are and of course cases where macros can't work reliably because the interaction with other apps is totally problematic (and not just delayed)
I believe member experience is most important and it would be good for everyone to share
