Hi
I can see how to launch an app on Bluetooth connect, but is it not possible to close an app on Bluetooth disconnect? I don't mean background app, I tried that and the app is still running
If so how to do that?
Thanks

Hi
no its not rooted

so no way to end an app ?

Nolan

You can just launch home screen, which could does the job. However it will still show in recents. You can also try closing with UI interaction.
> Go Recents > Click "REMOVE ALL".
Depends on your system.

I would suggest actions:
Launch home screen
Clear notification, of the app you want to close - it also works on persistent ones
Kill background processes, the app you want to close.
--If you still need it to not be in recents, use Android shortcut action to show recent apps and then UI interaction to swipe away or press close all (this varies with device so it may not be compatible)

ok thanks
could you explain precise walkthrough

1. i found actions > recent apps. But how can i make macrodroid clear recent apps?
2. how does the swipe away UI interaction command work ?
3. clear notification, that just seems to have cleared the notification but the app still runs and is visible in recent apps. But now i cant get the notification back when the app is opened and i go to homescreen - why is that and how to get it back ?
4 kill background process dont seem to do anything regarding the app in question

Would you be able to show us how you built your macro, and some logs, that will help me debug. The notification should be able to come back but may not if it is not posting new content.

UI interaction should be able to clear the app from recent apps once MacroDroid opens recent apps

thanks
i just did, but what happens is that recent apps list is shown but nothing is closed.

What command (please step by step) do i need after the show recent - to close all recents ?

You just need to use text that is shown in recents for clearing all apps. Or you can use "identify in app" option than click on it and MacroDroid will recognize what you have clicked on.
