Pixel or Galaxy?

Mi compra de Android será un Galaxy o Pixel 6 en unos días. ¿Es un Pixel o Galaxy mejor para Macrodroid? Muchas gracias.
I love samsung, but Pixel will always have stock android (this will make it more compatible all the time, having less customisation from the manufacturer).
2 quick examples I can tell you is that MacroDroid doesn't support the fingerprint trigger because of the samsung sdk however the standard android sdk will work for you.

The proximity sensor, Samsung only activates it when necessary, this will complicate the use of the proximity sensor trigger, on my device (oneplus) this feature works perfectly 24/7.

Thank you very very much for your reply. This is the exact type of information I’m looking for. It really makes sense. I have a pixel 3a and hope to update to a pixel 6 before the month is over when they are released. I’ve used macrodroid for many years as a paid customer and it’s well worth the price.

See if Fairphone 4 or Teracube phones are appealing to you. They are better for rooting and so on

I have just changed from a galaxy S10e to a Pixel 6 ( Had an old nexus 6p prior to both ), The pixel 6 is a stunning device and I have had no issues with it. Am now trying to get macrodroid to do all of the stuff that I had bixby routines set up to do on the galaxy.

Pixel 2, then Pixel 4, then Pixel 6. @FGS is correct: it's a stunning device. No bloatware, unlike Samsung (and others). AND, my two kids (teenagers) are using the 2 and 4 as their primary phones, which are operating just like the day they came in the box.

I don't know, maybe SAMSUNG will be better for me. It is somehow more practical and works better, and has certain advantages.

Is this the right thread?

I don't agree that on all Samsung device proximity sensor only activates when necessary.

On my S23 if works fine while the screen is on.
