Integration with MiBand?

Is it possible to integrate MacroDroid to do something simple like a push notification to MiBand? Or perhaps vibrate it based on some trigger? E.g. every 1 hour, popup a notification to get up and stretch and drink water and vibrate MiBand.

Notify for Mi Band is a great app for mi band and have plugin build inside, so you can push notifications, automatically start workout, stop it, start hearth monitor, stop it, change dnd. You can get information that band disconnected/connected or that you fell asleep, woke up....etc....

I personally use notify for amazfit which is same but for amazfit. It has a pro version but it worth it, because it really extends what your band can do.

You can also just use official mi fit app and add MacroDroid to list of apps which notifications should show on band and then just post MacrDroid notification on mobile and it should arrive to your band.

I know about it, but I don't want another app on my phone if I don't need to. I just need Macrodroid to support Miband integration.

I don't want to speak for MacroDroid Dev but I think this is too specific integration. If he would make integration with every band or watches it would take him a lot of time, especially if every band/watchfaces have custom firmware that you need to learn to be able to coummunicate with them properly and there would be not much poeple using it.
Reason why there is integration with Wear OS is because he propably expected it to be more widely used in more watchfaces like Android is in mobile phones.

So this job needs to take developers of 3rd party apps like notify for mi band, that are focused on app for that band only, but can make integration so MacroDroid is able to speak to band/watches.

Well, that's why there are standards and protocols that most manufacturers use. You have different types of brands and models of laptops and they all use the same standard for e.g. wifi or other network protocols. They all support the same USB standards for data transfer, same standards for bluetooth, etc.

Besides, some devices are more popular than others and so it is often the case that they are more widely supported. If the dev wants to make this happen, he will make it happen and implement it as a new feature.

This is a feature request section and so this is my feature request.

Unfortunately what @FrameXX says is broadly true. I don't have capacity to support specific hardware devices that only a tiny %age of the user base will even have. While it might be plausible to add some very basic functionality there is no way I could ever do as well as a specific app that is written for the device where the developers only focus is to interact with that hardware.
