INFO ONLY : v5.51.4 PRO com.google.gson.JsonSyntaxException

Just sharing an experience, not reporting a bug...

v5.51.4 PRO was installed in February on top of previous release. Ran successfully.

Today, kill MacroDroid v5.51.4 PRO. On restart, below occurred between the enabling of the same macros. Confirmed with recreates.

Macrodroid system log:
Failed to import macro file: com.google.gson.JsonSyntaxException: java.lang.IllegalStateException: Not a JSON Object: "\u0000\u0000\u0000\u0000\u0000\u0000\u0000\u0000\u0000\u0000\u0000\u0000\u0000\u0000\u0000\u0000\u0000\u0000\u0000
above repeats

Macrodroid would continue execution successfully.

Export macros. Uninstall v5.51.4. Install v5.51.4. Import macros.

Kill MacroDroid v5.51.4, no exception occurs.

Repeat, no exception occurs.

To me that seems like the file is just empty (full of zeroes).
I remember long ago I used to have a bug that would sometimes happen where the macro data file would get corrupted and I would lose all my macros. It seems to be fixed now.
