I would like to disable the touch screen of my tablet

My mother has Alzheimer's and I would like her tablet to display a continuous slideshow. I have already made a macro that answers a Messenger video call.
I can't find how to block the tablet. Thank you for your help. I am French and Google translation helps me a lot.

There are apps in the Play store that can do that.

You can use DeepL, it's more coherent in most cases.

I would like to activate or deactivate the touch screen by message.
I send a Messenger message "Activate" or "Deactivate".
I don't want her to be able to reactivate the touch screen from the tablet.
Thanks

Try this macro, it is completely in MacroDroid without needing any other app.

You can remove the 5 seconds, I forgot to remove it.

Thank you for your help.
The 2 actions : Floating text Show "Block touch screen" or Hide "Block touch screen" block the touch function of the screen. It works only in one way.
Moreover I still have access to the 3 small keys at the bottom (under test on smartphone).
Thank you for your help.

Lock my touch blocks the touch screen but also the display of the screen.
The slideshow does not work anymore, it is stuck on a photo.
Thank you for your help.

You can use immersive mode action in MacroDroid. Also you should enable screen pinning if you want to. Settings>security>screen pinning.

Thank you Jacob L
I don't know where to find the immersive mode in MacroDroid.
I managed to pin the app that displays the photos, but the 3 buttons at the bottom of the screen are still active.
Thanks for your help

The three buttons won't do anything unless you press and hold back and recents at the same time.

Immersive mode is in MacroDroid under actions:

Under device settings

Thanks for help.
I have problems with ABD Hack.
I don't have a SIM card installed in my phone and when running ABD the smartphone asks me for a SIM card.
Is it necessary?
Thanks

I have no idea if you can bypass that, but Jacob L might know. I assume it's a Xiaomi device ?

I guess you would be able by enabling in the secure/global settings table, but that requires ADB hack or root so...

I am in test mode with a smartphone, my project is a tablet and I want to
- block access to the terminal
- Scroll images loaded on the cloud
- Automatically answer video calls
And all this in WiFi.
There are products on the market that meet my request and buying a tablet will be more useful when I visit the nursing home.
I'm currently stuck with a smartphone and the goal is not to have it work on this one but on a tablet, so I'll stop messing with this Xiaomi.
If you have an idea which tablet to turn to, I'm a taker. (in 10" minimum)
