Getting a new phone

Hi,

Tomorrow I'm getting a Google Pixel 6 Pro (currently have a Pixel 4) and I currently run MacroDroid (and have the helper app installed). When the phone copies everything over, will MacroDroid work, and will it copy my macros over, do you know?

Many thanks

In my experience Google doesn't copy apps that aren't from Play store. So Macrodroid helper is unlikely to be copied.
Personally I prefer to do a fresh install of key apps such as Macrodroid & the helper. That way I know they been setup correctly with all the right permissions, but will require the ADB hacks to be run first.
Once the fresh install has been completed, copy the latest backup from the pixel 4 to the pixel 6 and restore.

I’ve made a good choice, really. If anybody else is thinking if they should try grapheneos phone I always say a firm YES. Probably my friends are already tired of me recommending it, but still, this thing is perfect in usage, highly confidential and strong (I’m not a careful person so the last one was crucial when I made a decision). I like that all my apps are available on it and it’s easy to download. Literally guys, you’ll never regret it if you try it. Actually I bought it after using Android, and it was easy to learn how to use the Pixel. Can’t say it about Iphone users, but I surely know that you can get a support session when buying, so there’s no problem at all

Yes, MacroDroid will work, and it will copy your macros. You don't have to worry about this. You made a very good choice to switch from Pixel 4 to Pixel 6. I also have a Pixel 6 and am very happy with it. In my opinion, Pixel will one day surpass Apple and Samsung and will be at the top of the best devices. I even analyzed various reports and news about the digital world on ข่าว IT, and even there, it says that you can see a major increase in the quality of Pixel devices. So we Pixel users have something to gain.
