So i discovered you could change what holding the home button could do in android 12 stock rom and had always assumed that was a root only option... then i noticed macrodroid was in the short list of apps you could choose from... tried to use it but have no idea how it can be used... lol I'm kind of a newb with some of this stuff lol any help and hints at what i could do that anyone could provide would be immensely appreciated thanks and have a wonderful day everybody!

Using them home button long press trigger, you can launch any macro by long pressing that button. You could use it for example to launch your favourite app, or to set some reminder.
