Ambient Display On always defaults to "Tap to show"

I would like to enable the AOD for a few minutes when I receive a notification and then turn it off again.

The triggers work as expected and I use the "Ambient Display On" action.
The AOD is turned on successfully but on my Samsung Galaxy S24 with Android 14 / OneUI 6.1 there is an additional setting called "When to show". When I turn on AOD via Macrodroid, AOD is successfully enabled but the "When to show" setting is set to "Tab to show". Other options for "When to show" setting are "Auto", "Always", "As scheduled" and "For new notifications". For my use case to work, I need this setting to be "Always", because I want the AOD to always show when enabled. I tried setting "Always" via settings once. This setting sticks when I toggle the AOD via settings but is overwritten with "Tab to show" when I enable AOD via Macrodroid.

Any way we can control the AOD "When to show" setting via Macrodroid?

Looks like it was aodNotify that (although disabled) reverted the setting in the background.

After uninstalling aodNotify, the setting is sticky and my use case is working.

Following up on this although no longer required for my use case: will the "When to show" setting be configurable via Macrodroid at some point?
